BIG CUP OR LITTLE BOY?

Its been a while since I have made a post, so I thought I better update. As you all know I went back to school in August & Rhiley started daycare. Things seem to be going well. School is ok, its promising to be a good semester and Rhiley really enjoys going to play with the other children. Although, he has to throw a 'little' tantrum every morning I drop him off, but they say he stops almost immediately after I pull out of the driveway. And I must say, since the day he started hes had a touch of sore throat, 2 ear infections and a stomach virus. Kids are really germy. But at least his immune system will be good & strong. I think the interaction with the kids will really help him in the long run, he was getting a bit stingy, and its gotten better. Anyhow, I will end this with a few pictures of Rhiley. Hes getting so big. In just 4 short months he will be 2. TWO YEARS OLD. I will be the mother of a 2 year old. I still cant believe it sometimes, but I wouldnt have it any other way. Well, Just to let everyone know, I am officially enrolled in school, yet again! I enrolled today for the fall semester, so I am on my way. Also, Rhiley got enrolled himself in "Miss Ashley's Daycare". I just about cried, but it is going to be ok. The daycare is about 2 1/2-3 minutes from the college and he seemd to like it today when we went for a "test run". He immediately started playing with the other children there, which is a good thing. He's not shy that's for certain. The lady who runs the daycare seems to be really nice, and everything is really clean and neat. I think things are going to work out fine. and It will only be for a couple of hours Monday-Friday. It's just a really big adjustment. More so for me than him, I'm afraid. I just have to keep telling myself, this is the right thing to do, and that it will help us out in the future. Plus, the sooner I get started the sooner I get done, and get a job. Jimmy is very understanding & is backing the daycare descision up 100%. His job is going well also, another bigger company took over, so more money and better benefits, so that's a plus. Things seem to be going really well for us, and hopefully things will continue to look up. I got a new camera for mother's day,so here's a picture of Rhiley. I think he's guilty of something but I dont know what :0) !!!! Until next time, God Bless!!!!!

Happy Easter!

Hope this day was fantastic for everyone. As for me, I am exhausted! Running here and there, coloring eggs, then hididng and finding them. I am just wore out! Rhiley had his first "real" experience with the Easter Bunny yesterday at the park, and he absolutely did not like him. AT ALL! He started pointing, and crying and trying to run back wards to get away. But I can't say that I blame him. If I was one and a giant bunny with enormous eyes was trying to get me to sit on his lap I would probably have ran too! He did get a lot of eggs at the Park though, so all was not lost. This morning we attended church and he got a bunny and lots of candy in his basket. I will attach a few pictures of Rhiley with the "Big Bunny". Happy Easter guys! Talk to you soon.

I haven't made a post on here in a while so I thought I would just stop by and say hey! Nothing new 'round the ol' home front. Rhiley is still into anything his hands will get ahold of... at least until momma or daddy catches him, then he's quick to blame the dog...as if such an innocent little man could do something like pull the air freshener out of the wall and lick it to see if the it actually does taste like cinnamon apple.... hmm NOT RHILEY!!! :0) Anyway, his daddy got a new pair of work boots and he thought it would be gobs of fun to play in them, Rhiley not Jimmy (just to clarify!) Lately I have really been doing some soul searching and I have come to the conclusion that.. there's got to be something else out there, something else I can do, so I am going back to school, only this time with a different major in mind. I am going to Nursing School to become an RN. I was going for Radiologic Tech, but when I spoke with my counselor today she informed me I was only 7 credit hours away from being accepted into the Nursing Program, so I thought why just stop at the Tech. degree when I can take a few more hours and go a little bit further and become a Nurse. They are in High demand, and its something I believe I will really enjoy!!!! I feel so relieved and scared at the same time. I am so thankful I have finally figured out what it is I want to be "when I grow up", however at the same time I am scared to death of failure. What if I dont suceed? There's always the possibility, but If i dont try I will never know. I am so blessed Jimmy has allowed me this time to try to figure it all out, and is letting me be able to stay home with Rhiley all this time. He's also working so hard so I dont have to work, and I can finish school. I will start back in the fall and hopefully be finished sometime in 2010. yes 2010.. sounds weird huh?? :0) Wish me luck as I journey out!!! Here I go again!!!!!

Saturday was Rhiley's first birthday party!!! He had so much fun. There was cake everywhere, and we had a really good turnout. It was good for him to get to play with other kids around his age. Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment....

Welcome Home!

As I stated in my last post, we are offically moved in to our new home and loving it. I actually got unpacked quicker than I thought I would.. (not counting those few boxes still in hiding. ;)) I will say unpacking is not even HALF as bad as packing.. but it will be A LONG time before I do it again! I just wanted to get on here while I had a moment of peace and try to get some pictures up... they arent the best b/c I had a little 'un tugging on my leg.. so you will have to excuse them.. but here you go......ENJOY!!!

I am back!!

Well, I figured out the problem!! It was something on my mom's computer that wouldnt allow me to log in to my account, but I am back and ready to blog!!! We are finally HOME and it feels wonderful! My house is amazing, and I love it! Its exactly what I imagined it would look like and I love love love being in my own home again!!! We are still in the process of moving some things and unpacking some things but for the most part its all done! All my furniture and things are in here!! :0) Rhiley went for his 1 yr. check up (finally) today. His appt. was scheduled for last week but the weather made it not happen, so anywhoo, he got his immunizations and he screamed. It broke my heart, but after I picked him up he was all better! He weighs a whopping 30 lbs. and is 32" long!! WOW! Now that's a big baby!!! haha!!! I dont even think he realises yet that we have a new house, Tank however kinda went crazy, he ran around for a while acting a little weird, but after the first night he settled down, and now he's lazy like the Tank we all know! I will eventually get around to posting some pictures of my new house, I just havent had much time to do anything the last couple of days, but I will!!! I guess I best go for now, Rhiley is quiet and I could be doing things, so that will be all for tonight! 'Till next time!!!

shopping maddness!

I realised today, I procrastinate WAY too much! I really need to get on the ball with this whole holiday shopping thing! I made a list and I have 3894723897 people to buy for and then turn around and buy birthday presents for Rhiley! Ahhhhhhhh! So I thought to myself, "self, lets go to Wal-Mart and get things done!" Does anyone realise how hard that is to do with an 11 month old baby pulling everything within arms reach off the shelves, and when he doesnt get his way, he screams at the top of his lungs! Oh and not to mention every older person in the store manages to stop me and Rhiley and compliment what a beautiful baby I have! I feel honored they feel this way I really do, but when you are in a hurry, you cant stop every 5 mins. just to chat! Ah! Ok, well. We get to Wal-Mart, i realise, I have no clue what to get ANYONE! There are way to many choices, and what do you get someone who has everything? So my dilema is, well, everything really! This is suppose to be the happiest time of the year, and its just turning into something not of the sort! Mabye I am making WAY to much out of it, but how is it everyone else waits until 2 days before Christmas and can still get EVERYONE on their list EXACTLY what they want, and I cant seem to do that?!?! Mabye I will start shopping exclusively ONLINE! YES! there is a thought! ONLINE SHOPPING! What a brilliant idea! Well, I have a sinus headache and really need to go clean house and finish packing some stuff, so I will go! Enough for today!! Tune in next Time!

On this, my first attempt at blogging "for real", I realise I am not as computer literate as I once thought...Jeez, it took me like 30 mins. just to figure out the "hello" program for my pictures, at least that is what I think it was for...hummm... ON ANOTHER NOTE! Rhiley had his first encounter with snow yesterday! He didnt know much what to think about it, and just kind of looked at me like, "Mom, you have GOT to be CRAZY!!!!!"

He wasnt nuts about it! I figured he would like it, but he just wasnt having any! We got so much snow it was crazy, it just kept on falling! Naturally, we ran out of propane and almost froze but the good people at MFA Propane came to the rescue! WHOO HOO!! THANK GOODNESS we wont have to rely on propane when our new house arrives, which by the way is competely finished, we are waiting on closing and the rest of the paper work hoop la! Which for those of you have bought homes before know that can take an excrusiating (sp?) amount of time when you just want it SO bad! ahhhhh! Well....... We are still hoping to be in it before Christmas .... or Rhileys 1st birthday at least! GAH, thats another thing... my baby boy... MY LITTLE BABY BOY is almost one year old. On the 10th of this month he will be 11 months old.... man people say time flies, but you just really dont believe it until you have a baby of your own then you realise how valuable every second really is!!!! Cherish the first months they go way way way to fast! I know, at first, all you can think about is the lack of sleep, and the lost years of your youth but as you sit there at 4 a.m. think about all those who want so badly to be moms or dads and that they may never get a chance, and how truley blessed you are to HAVE that chance! Even if just for a second you stop to realise just how lucky you are and take time to just sit and relax because before long your young one, will be at the age where they NEVER want to sit still! They dont stay babies forever, and as I watch my BABY grow up it makes me so happy and my heart is so full of thankfulness that GOD chose me to bring this little person into the world!! As I watch my son learn and explore I am so thankful that I have a baby that is so full of life and health! So,in saying all of that, I hope you can just take time to slow down and enjoy every moment!!!! Sorry this is so long, I told you, I kind of get carried away on these things!!!!!
